Originally created on June 2, 2003; the Xtreme Professional league, Inc. (XPL) was an amateur and professional gaming league devoted to competition players worldwide. The League was created to provide gamers a fully constructed and managed environment, enabling them to compete with teams from all over the world.

The New Xtreme Professional League Inc. re-created January 1, 2009 has many newer things added to the league to enhance the gaming level. With Pay 2 Play, Free 2 Play (with prizes), Tournaments, and Ladders. Coming with the new management of XPL will be some of the following; Xtreme Player Subscriptions (XPS), Xtreme Team Subscriptions (XTS), player & team blogs, player video, demo and image galleries all with comments & rating systems.

Anti-Cheat
GameGuardian™ (GG) is a non-proprietary anti-cheat system that XPL uses for all its competitions. GG is currently integrated with the XPL user database. GameGuardian has the following features:

* Check game files for any altercations
* Check for hooks include graphical, driver, general dll, and keyboard hooks
* Check a player’s keyboard bindings for ‘extra’ bindings
* Real Time memory scanning for active cheats
* Auto Updating, so all the players have the latest version of GG
* Network encryption with random report sending
* Random screen shots
* API Scanning for code that hackers use to manipulate games
* Process scanning
* Module scanning
* Registry scanning
* Smart Cheat Learning Technology (SCLT)
* Game Guardian Client does NOT contain detection code, preventing hackers from targeting the game client

For some unknown reason the match comm system on the league website is down. For the remaining duration of Season 1 we will be using the forums (link below) for scheduling matches. Essentially it is the same exact thing as before. DO NOT POST THERE if you are not on one of the named teams. Doing so will result in an infraction. Two infractions will result in a two week ban from the forums for "spamming".
